citlalli-orange-wild-tomato
Tomato (Cherry), Citlalli Orange “Wild”

Citlalli is a Nahuatl word that means star. These little orange stars are originally from Las Cañadas, an agroecological cooperative in Huatusco, Veracruz. Like most “wild” tomatoes, Citlalli is indeterminate, very resistant to foliar diseases, and will produce all season. Small (5 gram), orange fruits are produced in clusters. Like other wild tomatoes, they are best picked in clusters to prevent the fragile fruits from tearing at the stem. Fruits are sweet, fruity, and full of flavor. We love growing them on the farm, especially up near the pavilion so children can grab and snack on them. Citlalli is a great variety for the home garden or for market growers who want a unique offering. 62 days 0.25g, approx. 50 seeds/packet
