Jamapa was once a commonly grown black bean in much of Southern Mexico, and it is still preferred by many for its thin skins and wonderful flavor. For some, there are black beans and there are Jamapa. Semi-bush plants are tall with short 2-3’ runners. Consistently one of the most productive varieties of beans on our farm. 78-82 days
