Farm original! One of three varieties that we have bred from the de-hybridization of Magnificenza melon (a project we began in 2018). Margie’s Melon is a productive, round, well-netted muskmelon with medium-high sweetness, very good flavor, good rind durability, and good keeping quality. Plants show good field resistance to Fusarium Wilt, Bacterial Wilt, and Downy Mildew and intermediate resistance to Alternaria Leaf Blight. Fruits average 4-4.5lb. and 11 Brix.
