Corn (Popcorn), Palomero Yellow

An heirloom popcorn that was once commonly grown throughout Veracruz, Mexico. Drought-resistant, productive 6’ plants produce 6-8” ears that are stock-full of medium-to-large, pearly yellow-orange kernels. Both straight row and shoepeg patterns are present, although straight row is more common. Great wrapper coverage and tip-fill. The most productive popcorn variety we have grown.
