Okra, Simpson

Simpson Okra is an East Tennessee heirloom. It was originally grown by the Simpson family of Rogersville, TN. Very reliable variety in both wet and dry seasons. Simpson produces straight, downy, light green pods with good flavor on well-branched plants of medium height (about 6-7’). More flavorful than Clemson Spineless. Pods are best when picked under 5” long. 58 days
