Tennessee Red Valencia peanuts are a pre-1930 and perhaps pre-1890 Tennessee heirloom. Known for being one of the easiest peanuts to grow, they are very reliable here, even in clay soil. Bush plants produce 3-4 sweet, red-skinned peanuts per pod. Flavorful nuts are wonderful lightly roasted or ground for peanut butter. 110-120 days approx. 1.5 oz (in shells)
